One City Church
Compassion — justice and mercy ministry

Compassion

Mercy, out loud.

The justice and mercy ministry of One City Church — compassion for everyone, everywhere.

What is Compassion

What is Compassion?

Go where the pain is.

At the heart of the gospel is a God who moves toward us in mercy. Compassion is how we live that truth out loud — a justice and mercy ministry reaching our city and beyond.

We exist to embody Christ's love through practical care and spiritual support for those most in need. Whether in a prison cell, a slum, a rehab centre, or a remote village in the North — Compassion goes where the pain is.

We believe the gospel doesn't just change hearts; it transforms communities. Our vision is a gospel movement of mercy — healing wounds, restoring dignity, and revealing the heart of Jesus in every act of justice and compassion.

Why we do this.

Matthew 9:36

02

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8

03

Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
